+250 isnt it horrible when you work really hard to get in to a play just so you can get the worst part possible, amirite?

Or when you have to miss ONE FREAKING PRACTICE because you got 125$ box seat tickets to your favorite show and get your roles is TAKEN AWAY. I'm not bitter, I swear.

Ranting aside though, think of it this way: you got casted. It's better to be casted as Whore #1 than to be left out of the show.

or when you get the part of an extra in the play and have to stay until 10 PM everyday after school even though you aren't needed.

I STARRED in THREE plays while coping with a disability that wasn't physically apparent but still caused a lot of trouble. Then I got the service dog I'd needed all my life and suddenly it was "I'm not sure someone like you could handle it, maybe you can be a background character with no lines. Oh, and please don't bring that dog into this theater."

That's HORRIBLE. How is that even allowed? It's a service dog, it's not like you're carrying a chihuahua around in your purse!

That's an asshole move of your director and isn't against your rights in some way? discrimination or something?

When I was in grade 5 our school did the Lion King and I got a part in it. I still remember all my lines: "Rooooaaar!!" Yup, that's right. I was a background lion.
