Atheists must be evil. Babies are atheists, and you can see how twisted and black their cruel hearts are when you stare into their eyes, amirite?

Why would you say that babies are athiests...? That doesn't make sense.

Babies are born without any knowledge of God. Therefore, they're technically atheists since they don't believe in God. Obviously that's a flawed theory because a newborn baby cannot make the decision to believe or not, but they still do not "know" about God or "believe" in God, so in a way, they are atheists.

But an atheist believes there is no God. Babies don't believe in God and they don't believe there is no God. They don't believe in anything like that, because they have no idea what that is.

Right because the word atheist technically means having no God, that's all it means. Polytheistic means having many gods, monotheistic means having one god and atheistic means having no God. Atheist isn't a religion with it's own set of rules and beliefs, it's just a status. Which is correct if you're talking about babies because they don't have a concept of religion or God yet.

Comparing athiests to babies isn't the smartest move to make. Babies are incapable of processing the rational thoughts it takes to even comprehend the concept of religion. Inability to understand religion at all does not make babies athiests, it makes them nonreligious. They don't believe either way. Unless, of course, you mean to say that athiests are incapable of rational thought and so cannot believe anything but the nonexistence of God...

Babies have small minds and are unable to have a concept of God. That doesn't exactly mean they are atheistd though, because to be an atheist you have to believe in no god whatsoever, not just not know what God is.

I'm an atheist, and I always find atheist jokes hilarious... So long as they're actually funny, since a lot of the time, the ones I hear from the people that are like "YEAH WELL IF CHRISTIAN JOKES ARE SO FUNNY HOW ABOUT THIS: (lame joke)," and it's just like, "... Nice try, but that was horrible." This was actually decent.

That's not what I meant, I worded that badly. What I meant was that if you die before age ten, you will go to heaven no matter what you believe because any sins you have committed will be your parents responsibility.

Not all Christians go to heaven. It's not like "All Dogs Go To Heaven", there's no strict "You're going to heaven no matter what" thing. If you are a good person, you love your neighbor as yourself are selfless and generous and love God, then you go to heaven. Not all Christians love God completely, or love their neighbors as themesleves. Some lie, commit adultery, hate, horde their belongings, act completely selfishly, or even kill, yet they are still Christian. These kind of people wouldn't go to heaven, unless they truly realized they were doing a bad thing and stopped doing it.

Last time I checked, I wasn't an evil person. I got good grades, was a boy scout, did community service, tutored, and played elite sports. I don't see evil there, and I've been an atheist since I was 15.

The age depends on what kind of Christian you are. Some sects (Catholic, Luthren, Episcipalian) believe that everyone is born with the original sin, and they must be baptized to go to Heaven. Babies that aren't baptized go to purgatory. Other sects of Christianity believe that children are born sinless, and only have to be baptized once they reach the age of accountability. That age differs depending on who you ask, some say 10, some say 14, some say it is the age when you can tell right from wrong. (And it is a great joke!)
