TI think they go in prime numbers up to 7, multiples of 5 up to 20 and multiples of 10 after that. 100 is there are that many players. powers of 2 are used in the elimination tournaments, but that method is bullshit, because if you're the 49th best out of a hundred, and everyone better than you is in the other half, you'll end up as 2nd place.
