There should be birth control that guys can take instead of women always having to take it, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
...
lol
there is.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Aside from condoms, there isn't. They trying to make a male equivalent of the birth control pill but it's a lot more difficult than it is for women seeing as men produce sperm basically all the time but women only lay an egg once a month.
by Anonymous13 years ago
lol, "lay an egg"
by Anonymous13 years ago
they are actually developing one
by Anonymous13 years ago
Is that what I just said:? :) "They [are] trying to make a male equivalent of the birth control poll." :)
by Anonymous13 years ago
haha, i think i was going for how i thought one already existed but wasn't on the market yet, but between not being sure and lousy wording i fail it :P
by Anonymous13 years ago
Awww, no worries. ;)
by Anonymous13 years ago
You mean condoms?
by Anonymous13 years ago
I think they mean something that doesn't decrease the sensation like condoms do.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Condoms can break
by Anonymous13 years ago
lol
by Anonymous13 years ago
They don't HAVE to take anything.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I would totally use it.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Because taking a pill is ever so difficult.
by Anonymous13 years ago
It can be if you are a busy/forgetful person.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Set an alarm for your birth control pill.
Problem solved.
Or get Nuvaring.
by Anonymous13 years ago
What if you're not near your alarm or have forgotten you're pills while youre out :( it's just a hassle.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Take them as soon as you get up?
But I do agree on the hassle of taking medication every day.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I keep mine in my purse which will be home if I'm home and with me if I'm out. Problem KIND of solved. I also have a constant note on my cell phone AND an alarm.
Still, I forget - not for an entire day, just for two-three hours.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I do the exact same thing. I don't see why people freak out about having to take it everyday. If you're smart about it and it's really that important to you then it shouldn't be too big of a deal
by Anonymous13 years ago
Precisely. And no matter how much of a nuisance it may seem, it's a LOT easier than getting up three times a night to feed a baby. xD
by Anonymous13 years ago
My reasoning as well. Same with people who complain about the cost, have they ever seen how expensive baby things are?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Oh, I haven't had to buy any yet. :-o We'll see how much it costs me. :)
But yes, still not as expensive as diapers, I'm sure. :)
by Anonymous13 years ago
I actually get mine for free but I've looked at the costs... DEFINITELY worth it :)
by Anonymous13 years ago
Like something to kill the sperm, lol?
by Anonymous13 years ago
I think they're making a "male pill" that stops the production of sperm.
Personally I wouldn't trust that shit. Female pills make sense. Male pills sounds like they could fuck up the circuitry down there, permanent-like.
by Anonymous13 years ago
If you want mutant babies...
by Anonymous13 years ago
Is it not better as a woman to be able to rest assured knowing you've taken your birth control, and KNOW you're protected then to trust a man when he tells you he's taken it?
by Anonymous13 years ago
I agree, I think it's the woman's right to decide on that and the guy should have to trust her...
by Anonymous13 years ago
Right, if they're not protected it'll be the woman who will primarily be affected by the human growing inside of her uteris
by Anonymous13 years ago
its called mountain dew
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yeah, but there's not.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I got a good idea! How about a latex glove that fits over a man's penis.
I'll call it a Condom!
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'm pretty sure it DOES exist, but no company would actually take it on because apparently men wouldn't be trustworthy enough about this :/ I don't think that's necessarily true. But it does exist.
