I've never had to replace a pair of ear buds.. The ones that come with my iPod have always held up fine.

I actually put some money on my earbuds. my earbuds cost about 50 bucks, they're durable, and the sound quality is incredible

you have to the get BOSE headphones. The best sound quality and they last for a long time. :-)

I have those and they're AMAZING! It sounds like you're using full ear headphones even though you're not. Sure they're kind of pricey ($80) but they're so worth it.
