Good choice. I grew up in a household where alcohol was present, but it taught me how to handle liquor. I know my limits when it comes to drinking, and I think it's a good thing. I can have a drink with dinner, or on social occasions, and I can get good and drunk now and then. But I always know where I am when it comes to my alcohol consumption. I hate being sloshed, but I've learned where my cut off is, and I think it's a good thing.

I've never seen my parents drunk, or anything close to it. Everyone else has funny stories about their parents being drunk and doing funny things, but I will probably never have those stories. My mum doesn't like most alcohol and has only been drunk a few times, and my dad once almost died from too much alcohol, he had to have his stomach pumped on his 18th birthday because of alcohol, so he hasn't really been drunk since.

My parents never drank either. Just once I walked from kitchen to the den where they were having a party my mom and another lady were on foot stools dancing trying to look sexy I know she must have had a drink cause that was not her way. Next day the foot stool was split oh no.

Drunk parents I have never seen that too bad you have drunks as parents try to help them stop. You should love your parent's now while you can. They die so much sooner than you ever expect. Especially drunks and smokers.
