If I did that I'd probably start laughing. Then I'd be screwed. I would personally go for the cutlery drawer and start throwing if I thought they might hurt me.

That happened to me when I was alone in the house, I went to my brothers bedroom to get my dog, then went to my parents bedroom to call the police, locked myself in their bathroom... cried my ass off and I was accepting the idea that I was going to die. The police arrived really really fast and they arrested the 2 guys who broke in. Yeah, I always imagined that I would kick ass in that kind of situation... guess not.

I think I would grab my airsoft gun, baseball bat and some knives just in case and my phone. Then I would lock myself in the bathroom and call the police. That way if they found me before the police arrived I could atleast try to defend myself.

Whenever I think someone is in my house I hold my cell phone in one hand with 911 in it ready to dial, take the two biggest knives in my kitches and search around.

I also like to think my dogs would protect me but after finding some guy wandering around my yard, I found only one goes nuts at someone she doesn't know. In all honesty, if someone were in my house, I'd probably start screaming at them. Then if they tried to hurt me, I would escalate that to hitting them with the closest thing in reach.
