If you think about how many galaxies are in the universe (a lot) and how many solar systems exist in those galaxies, there is bound to be another planet somewhere that can support life. A lot of people just assume that since there aren't extra terrestrials in our solar system, they don't exist. We actually don't know, and maybe we never will.

I didn't say that the reason I think they exist is that the media has done anything. I'm saying they exist, but not at all in the sense we think of them...spaceships and green or the general appearance in movies or anything.

"Most likely, they don't exist"... really? So in the expanse of the entire universe, the millions of light years across that we know of and the millions there will be beyond it, it's most likely that there's not a single other planet that has any form of organic life on it?
