+381 You can tell a person is Canadian by the way they sleep. Zedzedzed, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't get it

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Canadians pronounce te last letter of the alphabet zed, instead of zee.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

eh, i'm offended. We don't make that sound eh?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

In French you pronounce the alphabet ahbaysaydaohajaiashijeekaenomenopayqueaesttaeoovaedooblavaeegrekzed seriously. Although I propably could have made better pronunciations

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Don't they speak french there? Not english...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The speak both (:

by Anonymous 13 years ago

92 percent of our country (Canada) most likely doesnt even speak french at all. ...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wait wait. What about f?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But people say zee mostly!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Do you guys say zeezeezee while you're sleeping?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes, as a matter o' fact, we do!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That sounds like it would be both incredibly demonic and mildly amusing.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's only the French Canadians... so if you go to Quebec yeah, or maybe New Brunswick, but the rest of Canada says zee.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

English Ontario has a mix of both zee and zed but mostly zed i'm pretty sure they say zed in the prairies too.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I live in Winnipeg and the schools here say zed instead of zee.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Really? I've never heard anyone in Ontario say zed...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Really? I say Zed! And I'm in Ontario.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Don't the british also say zed? :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Funny for americans, not so funny for canadians cause its not true.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

A majority of Canadians say zed instead of zee so it's sort of true.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Most Australians say zed too

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm Irish and I say zed, it annoys me when people say zee.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Why does it annoy you?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Just sounds wrong.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Double standard much? People on this site constantly make 'fat and dumb' jokes about americans yet a completely non offensive joke about someone else gets a bunch of haters..cool.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i'm canadian and i found this hilarious, lol. i'm surprised that a lot of canadians here said that they say "zee", most people i know say "zed"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know plenty of Albertans that say 'zed' as well. Same with alot of people from BC.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm canadian and i always say zee :) In fact, none of my friends say zed. weird.

by Anonymous 13 years ago
