+470 You wonder what the first lie you ever told was, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lying is like biologically natural. We don't learn it. BABIES LIE, MAN.

Really? It's natural? I never knew. So you're saying that it's our human nature to lie?

well this wasnt really a 'lie' but it was my first act of deception... i was 3 years old. it was a sunny day. i was with my mom walking past a toy store, when i saw it: this bull beanie baby. i dont know why, but i just had to have it. so i asked my mom. her response? 'No.' i was heartbroken. when we got home, i devised a plan. i would have to be smart about this...how could i make that bull MINE? and then it hit me. the next day i was back in that shopping center. i asked my dad to take me to starbucks for hot chocolate. starbucks was right next to the toy store. he took me, and all i had to do was nonchalantly walk past the toy store, see the stuffed animal, and ask for it. so i did. and he bought it for me. success! my mom was, of course, furious. but hey, i was happy! ive had that bull for about 12 years now.
