+362 hunting/ fishing for a "sport" is completely unnecessary and cruel. People should be more considerate than that. amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it's fun nothing beats disemboweled deer in the morning

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you suck

by Anonymous 13 years ago

your mom sucks ;)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

There are lots more where they came from; that's why it's legal to hunt and fish for certain things. Moreover, your internet access is also completely unnecessary.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

maybe you're the unnecessary one, since there are a lot more humans out there you gone wouldn't really make a difference then, would it

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That is correct. In those terms, everyone and everything is unnecessary. Good job standing by your beliefs, by the way. :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

thank you :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't mind it as long as they eat what they kill. Or if the animal is already suffering, or has some awful, awful disease.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

then its not hunting for sport. I hate hunting, but if you are going to feed your family with it then i wont object. Now, if you're trying to see who can get the biggest buck or whatnot, then yeah ill be pissed.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well, if they try to kill the biggest buck and then eat it, it's still technically for a sport.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I guess, idk there's a lot that could go into that. I just hate seeing their stuffed carcasses hanging on the wall.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Even if they just keep the head and eat the body?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes. They can eat the meat they get from it and I wont be mad about the fact that they were hunting. I just find it disrespectful to display its corpse on your wall to show how awesome you are for killing it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It is kind of wrong, in a way. Humans over abuse almost every luxury we have, we honestly don't deserve life.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If they eat it, whatever, go ahead, hunt your happy day away, but if they don't, F*** you, seriously, I hope that deer rapes you.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

HAHAH thank you!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I agree completely. I think hunting is wrong unless absolutely necessary. The kind of fish where you throw back the live fish afterwards is ok though.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm just going to throw this out there. Whenever people go hunting they always eat what they shoot. (Unless it's something like squirrel) Even if they are hunting for sport they eat it. And fishing. I have been fishing ever since I was three and I have never seen anybody catch a fish and not eat it/throw it back. If you think I'm lying I'm not. Oh, and to the people who think most hunters poach, probably haven't gone hunting before (or they hunted with the people that all other hunters hate)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

People do not always eat what they shoot! Bears, gazelles, zebras, wild cats? Seriously doubt it. Probably not water buffalo either. Or raccoons, sure some people eat it but a lot just skin it. I've seen a LOT of people who say they intend to throw a fish back, just want a picture, whatever, but aren't careful at all and it doesn't live when they throw it back.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Fishing is amazingly fun. Ive been doing it for about 3 years now and the thrill of having a giant fish on your line is the best. I always eat the fish that i bring home/throw it back if its too small. if treehuggers think thats immoral or wrong, go fuck yourselves, im gonna keep doing it.and hunting is pretty much the same thing, although i havent started yet. the thrill of the hunt is similar to the thrill of fishing. like i said, if treehuggers believe that im a terrible person for eating deer that i have shot, go screw yourselves. EDIT: simply killing animals and leaving them is very wrong. i dont do that and i have never heard of anyone doing that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Have you ever seen a deer get killed and eaten by a pack of wolves? Hunting is completely humane by comparison. When a population of animals is at carrying capacity the surplus will all die somehow

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Take a bath, hippie.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Will that be a blood bath, self-absorbed judgmental Amish?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You didn't get the reference, did you?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Purely for sport, meaning trophy hunting, is disgusting. "Oh look, I can kill defenseless animals with my big bad gun... and ones that aren't so defenseless? I'll just pop a scope on, hide in a tree, and shoot them from far away like a giant walking pussy, hurr hurr hurr." Eating what you kill makes it ok, although I agree dead, stuffed animal heads on the wall are revolting and are hardly "trophies". If you hunt with a bow and arrow instead of a gun you get my props; you're a real hunter.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

agreed, but that made me feel uncomfortable. i dont know why. lol its probably cause i like firing weapons (as in i think its fun) but ive never hunted so...is it bad if i think hunting is fun? o_0

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Is it bad I hunt big bear with stones and fists, then leave bear there for fox to eat?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I've hunted and fished before, and I can't stand people who don't eat what they kill. However, people who aren't vegetarians and are still against hunting are somewhat naive. It's much more humane for an animal to live in nature before dying than to live its life in a slaughterhouse.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I agree. I think it's just wrong. But that's just my opinion.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This is stupid. I know a lot of people who hunt and fish and I've never seen anyone hunt and not eat what they kill. And deer overpopulate so many areas, they end up killing people by running across interstates and causing accidents.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Humans have been hunting/fishing for thousands of years, get over it

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm not sure about you, but where I come from deer overpopulate. So they're killing the deer so their prey and predators can live. Yea, maybe you should look up some more facts before you make a post.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i didn't say anything about deer... i meant animals in general, all over the world which does, by the way, include places with endangered species, so yeah, look up your facts before you comment.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The way people keep chickens in little metal cages that they can't even turn around and force feed them with an endless stream of grain while pumping them full of growth hormones and antibiotics is worse

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well if you let them overpopulate and go over carrying capacity, the surplus would all starve to death or die some other nasty way. I'd much rather see them undergo a quick and near painless death than a slow and painful one.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

When people shoot exotic animals they don't usally eat it but this is still alright because their hunting guide usally gets the meat to feed his family.... And the stuffed heads arnt discusting my family has six three elk and three deer ... We have three hunters in my family me my dad and my little brother.... Each animal. Of each species is of record breaking popotions that we personaly ate all the meat or gave it to people who wanted it....*lso people do eat bear we do all the time grandma says that bear puts hair on a mans chest
