What if my blue is your red? Everyone could be seeing different colours for all we know.

No, it's more like what RileyTheBear said. If all colors were different to everyone in the way you're talking about, light and dark colors wouldn't be the same for everyone, the colors of the rainbow wouldn't go in order (if that makes sense...they kinda go on to the next color closest) to everyone, we wouldn't all agree certain colors look horrid together and other look nice together, and we wouldn't be able to test for color blindness. Some animals have really bright colors that let's predators know they're poisonous, and that wouldn't work if colors were completely different to everyone. Some animals can see more colors than us though. Imagine that, a color you've never seen.

I think that it could work though. Black and white would be the same for everyone as they're shades and every colour fades to them but the other colours could be different. And I don't mean just one colour being different for evryone, I mean every colour. So that everybody's rainbow may be differnt it still goes in an order that makes sense and works. And colours would go together because both the colours would be differnt for the other person, not just one. So it would be two different colours that still work. I don't know if you understand what I'm saying, it's hard to explain. Basically I'm trying to say every colour we see could be different to oher people, it wouldn't just be a few colours different. Also I've thought of that how there are more colours we can't see. It's just impossible to imagine a new colour.
