I feel disgraced for not having watched Schindler's list yet and I liked the departed but the original movie was better, Infernal Affairs.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Schindler's List is so heartbreaking yet amazing, you absolutely must watch it. Like right now. I've never seen internal affairs and I plan to keep it that way because I love The Departed so much I wouldn't want it to ruin the movie for me. Oh and did you comment twice? the notification said "There are two replies to your comment on post blah blah blah"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's high on my list of movies to watch. I guess that's alright. The departed is already a great movie. No I replied only once.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They might be making a The Departed 2 focusing on Dignam. And I'm stupid, I jut realized it said 2 replies because Fnat replied to a different comment I made.

To be honest, I think the departed is a movie that shouldn't have a sequel or spinoff. For me it kinda kills the movie's integrity. Just as for movies like fight club or the usual suspects. Still, that's my humble opinion. It's alright. It does happen that people get confused.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh no I agree. I don't think it will work well since basically everyone died, and like you said about fight club and usual suspects, unnecessary sequels usually ruin to good movies. Though I would still probably go see it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Great then. Yeah, it's hard making a sequel to a movie where everyone dies. You seem to be a good cinema amateur, amirite about this? Of course I would watch them too, just for the sake of knowing what the movie wanted to tell us more about the story.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I guess you could say "cinema amateur", I just really like to watch good movies. I don't like to analyze them or try to find all the deeper meanings though because it's like how for English class I have to pretty much analyze the book to death and then to me it's just not enjoyable anymore. I do pay attention to the symbolism and everything but instead of scrutinizing over the movie I just watch it a couple times.

I guess that we're similar when it comes too watching movies. I just watch movies, like it or not. That's all what happens.
