Relatively speaking, the years do get shorter the older you get, as its all about prospective. If a baby lives to be 1, then 2, it will have just lived twice as long as it has known. Making the year seem very long. Also, if a person lives to be 99, then 100, that year would only seem like a fraction of there entire existence, about 1/100 of their entire life. This makes years seem shorter as we age. Urrite
