Yeah, because I'd totally want my books, my laptop, and all of my work to get ruined. Not to mention I'd probably be soaked by the time I make it outside. I guess it would get me out of class, but its definitely not worth it.

Yes, but only if we were back in the 90's when everybody didn't walk around with a cell phone or iPod or some sort of expensive electronic device.
