Not in English... I assume this is an English website. England, US, Canada, Austrailia, Ireland, etc all put the sign before the number, yet people do it wrong all the time..

The correct way of displaying price in the U.S. would be "$20,000.00".

It's just like when people will put the apostrophe for abbreviating a year in the wrong place.
Some of my friends on fb will have stuff like Senior 11' instead of '11
