Those fries aren't going to fry themselves! And that McFlurry isn't going to McMake itself.

@Freddy; I totally understand. And I respect them in that case. But I dislike the students who drop out because they arent trying. (Coming from a sophomore) @Katffro; Good one :P

Who else going to capitalize the beginnings of your sentences?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Did a lack of capitalization really impede your ability to understand her question?

Please (everyone reading) don't take offense to this.

Actually, McDonald's won't hire dropouts. You need to be in high school or have a diploma to work there. So appreciate those who barely made it through high school for making your Big Mac!

More proof high school isn't about learning, it's about being submissive to the man!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think they need college graduating people working there, the past few times ive gone, theyve completely screwed up my order :P And other places too

Illegal Mexican immigrants! Duh!

What's the point of them staying in school if they don't care anyway? They might as well drop out. And some of them could still end up being successful, you don't need a high school diploma for every nice job.

I'd like to see someone drop out as a junior, and become an attorney or doctor. Given, there are NICE jobs. But nice as in what? Working at Sears? Yes, this is better than McDonalds, i suppose. But isn't as nice as other things out there IF you had a high school diploma.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It depends on what you like. My sister dropped out and went into cosmetology. She loves it and the money's great. And someone could always get their GED after they drop out. And we need more than doctors and attorneys in the world anyway, so it's lucky for us that not everybody wants those jobs.

I'm still in High School and I work at McDonalds. It doesn't mean I do badly at school or anything, I'm planning to go to University. I just needed a part time job.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This is talking anout DROPOUTS. EVERYONE should have a part time job while in school if able. NOT talking about people like you.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well you said "who else", implying their the only people that work there

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Some people drop out of high school/college because they don't have anyone to push them or tell them the value of an education. They're products of their own environment.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's ridiculous... McDonald's will hire damn near ANYONE to a basic crew member position, diploma or not. They may not hire you on in a management position, but if you work there long enough you may end up there anyway... once again, regardless of education. How do I know? One of my husband's best friends is a manager of a McDonald's, and never graduated high school. Don't post corrections you're not sure of, please.
