+300 Teachers should at least round grades for students that have worked their asses off the whole quarter, amirite?

If you worked your ass off and still can't get a good grade, that class is too hard for you.If you worked your ass off and got a good grade, that's your reward. And even if this did work, how would you know who actually worked hard? And, even if people didn't work super hard, why should they be punished for understanding the material the first time?

I hate kids like you. Always complaining, if you are short of getting an A or a B, then you should have put in that little bit of extra effort. Don't assume you deserve it because more often than not, you don't.

Yes! It pisses me off. Some of my profs in college do this; if you turn in all the homework and do all the reading, and you're 4 or 5 points shy of the next grade up, they'll give you those 4 or 5 points. Granted, this assumes that the students aren't lying about how much of the reading they're doing (they'll just ask you to write what percentage you did that week), but they always make the tests hard enough that if you don't read, even if you lie about it, you're still going to get an F. It works out well, and it's a nice reprieve from the other profs who make 99% or less a B.
