That's a ridiculous point to make. It's like saying: "If you're going to go beat up gay people, why shouldn't others mug jewish people?" Both actions are prejudice and inappropriate, and acting in a similar way is not an effective reaction to the original action. And some people are allowed to not know the difference between terrorism and Muslim Extremism, as long as they are educated about the meanings and principles of both demographics. If people are fully aware of these and still accept the belief that all terrorism is Muslim, then there is no point in trying to reason with them, or especially act similarly to make a point to them.

This is not to say that any presented actions are okay to perform, of course. But the expression that they are inappropriate is not limited to radical options.
