The worst part is, it never gets easier. I wrote and gave about 100 speeches my last 2 years at high school (2 years of Debate class, debate club, speech class, speech club, 2 years of Student Congress) and starting the speech was always a pain in the ass that was usually only overcome with the help of the pressures of the last minute.
