What's wrong with Earth exactly?

I don't see any objective reason why the word "Earth" is any less cool than "Mars", "Venus", etc. This leads me to believe that the only reason you think it's less cool is because it's the planet you most often hear about. If Earth switched names with another planet and you grew up calling our planet Mars, you'd think that Mars is less cool than Earth.

The scientific name is Terra if you prefer.

That kinda sounds like "Terror". Which would be cool "Planet Terror".
