+179 "Peanut butter" sounds normal to you, but any other kind of nut (ex. almond, cashew) butter sounds gross, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

how about "sun butter", made from sunflower seeds! actually pretty tasty. (but I'm with you on the almond and cashew butter... not at all appealing.)

(Also+anonymous): yah that actaully sounds cool. have fun making it

by Anonymous 13 years ago

haha reading comprehension "fail" on me since sunflower seeds are NOT nuts... yup.

I have almond butter in my pantry at home... I'm afraid to eat it.

Peanuts aren't nuts; they are beans.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

They're actually legumes. Beans are a TYPE of legumes, though.

almomd butter actually pretty good. its really thick though so you don't need too much

Almond butter is delicious and cashew butter sounds delicious.

Almond butter is bitchin! :)

Almond butter is amazing, and this is coming from someone who doesn't even like almonds all that much. And Nutella is essentially hazelnut butter with some chocolate thrown in.

Of course they want to sell it marketed as a healthy hazelnut spread with a "hint" of cocoa. Who wants to admit their product has 5 teaspoons of sugar in every serving?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I meant for you to notice that cocoa was after hazelnuts in the list. That means less.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Doesn't make the chocolate amount "some". It could be like 99% of the hazelnut amount.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Even so, it's not "chocolate butter with hazelnuts thrown in"

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Nor is it "hazelnut butter with //some// chocolate"

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I never said it was.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I didn't say it was you. I'm just restating my point.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Then it's "hazelnut-chocolate butter". That work for everyone?
