Yes, there definitely is; they have to worry about you snooping through their phone. If you trust them, leave them their privacy; if you don't, you shouldn't date them. The games and the sneaking are all stupid and pointless; they just delay the inevitable.

Unless they are trying to keep something a surprise, like a present or a birthday party or just something plain surprise worthy like wouldnt it suck dick if you found out he was getting ready to propose to you, on his phone, before it happened? Dont be sooo quick to assume the worst
