+232 Most couples have a song that is special to them. It's strange and horrifying to think that in twenty years, people's songs will be things like Taylor Swift or rap. amirite?

I think it'd be funny if someone's was rap, although it would be kinda odd. Taylor Swift seems pretty appropriate, though. As long as it's not one of the songs about how she hates some ex or something. (majority of her songs) d

I don't see how that's strange or horrifying. A song is a song, and people can have whatever song they want if it's special to them.

Don't be so ignorant, rap is an incredibly diverse genre, and if you sifted through the mainstream shit you'd find songs that would trigger every emotion you had

I know, I'm surprised people even agreed with this post.

I'm so sick and tired of people making posts like this. "Oh lulz, 20 years before we were born was so awesum!!11" Shut the fuck up. Our generation is pretty fucking kickass. What do you think is an appropriate song then? Something in the "sex, drugs, and rock n roll" era? Well here's a newsflash: The music's about sex and drugs, just in rock form. Seriously, get over it.

No our generation is not kickass. We are struggling with so many thing right now. And yes some of the music is about sex and drugs but even so it has some pretty meaningful lyrics. And I'm not trying to say all songs made now are not deep but some of the most popular songs or what used to be most popular songs like 'I can make your bed rock' or 'dynomite' isn't the same quality as some of the songs. And the autotune added and fake instruments. Today it doesn't take talent to make music, just some money, youtube, or good looks. And maybe people born then thought there generation was kickass. Also lulz and awesum!1!! is from this era. So do a little research before you bash these things, because not everyone has the same opinion.
