Except when everyone else is going to college. Don't turn the other way on that one if you plan to be successful. I made that mistake.

I know plenty of successful people who didn't go to college and honestly, college isn't for everyone. I do believe everyone should try going but if you don't like it, move on to something new. I suppose it depends on your definition of success. Some people might view the fact that they are living as a success and others might see success as how much money they have in the bank.

I see your point about success being different depending on the person. I agree with that. As for the other thing, that was my whole reason for not going. It 'wasn't for me.' Yes, plenty of people can be successful without going to college, but they are exceptions. Generally, a college education is a requirement for a salary job.
