+391 Oxymorons: they're bittersweet. Amirite?

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Is this the "original copy" of this post?

I...would hope so? I haven't been on here in a while but I definitely recall looking up 'bittersweet' and 'oxymoron' before posting this.

I just wanted to post an oxymoron in an actual comment. That's why it's "original copy". Didn't mean to say you were copying. xD

...Well, I think it's safe to say that I feel extremely stupid at the moment. Hahaha, my fault for sorta skimming through the message. :P *insert witty oxymoron pun here.*

by Anonymous 14 years ago

No, they aren't. How would they be?

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Some tend to confuse me, is all.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

I bet the word "bittersweet" confuses you as well. It doesn't mean, actually, "confusing" but means something is good but bad as well.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

I'm aware of what bittersweet means..I consider most oxymorons 'good'...but there are some that I consider 'bad' as well...because they..confuse me...annnnnnd...yeah I don't know where I'm going with this.

Oxymora are good but there are confusing ones so they're bad. The English language is bittersweet; I understand some words but I'm too stupid for others. I see your logic.

Woah, uhm. Okay. 'Stupid' definitely wasn't what I was trying to imply by that but...alrighty. That's...one way to interpret it?
