+524 It took Harry Potter seven, extremely long, books to get the bad guy. It only takes Scooby Doo 25 minutes. amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

well Voldemort is alot harder to beat than some fool in a mask

by Anonymous 13 years ago

So what? its not all about getting the bad guy, its the story and plots that happened along the way.

The one bad guy in Harry Potter can kill almost anybody that he wants to with a stick and can essentially teleport, as well as fly and make people do his bidding. The villains in Scooby Doo are average citizens in costumes who curse those 'meddling kids, and their dog, too,' then walk submissively away with the cops.

Honestly. It's like comparing apples and laser guns.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha. Apples and laser guns...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I would compare it more to lasers and apple guns.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Voldemort is just Filch in a mask.

I don't really think that the Harry Potter books are extremely long.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Um...they are pretty damn long.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They're only a couple hundred pages. That's not that long.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"couple" means two. The later Harry Potter books are 600 pages and longer. I've personally never read a book longer than Order of the Phoenix (which is more than 250,000 words long).

Okay, you try killing a near-immortal with 5,000,000,000,000 followers while you're still a teenager in school that isn't all that smart, and when you're finally old enough to do magic outside of school, the smartest person that could help you is dead and aforementioned near-immortal controlled the world in 25 minutes and tell me how that works out fer ya ;)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Voldemort has more followers than there are humans on earth?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hahaha I can't believe people are getting so defensive over this and acting like both Harry Potter and Scooby-Doo are possible and realistic. I'm a huge HP fan, read the books God knows how many times, but it's just a joke..

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And Harry Potter books are so long and boring.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You're gonna get downvoted so hard that it will actually go positive.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah I guessed as much. But that is just how I feel.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I assume that you're only talking about the last four, amirite? Because the first three are only like 300 pages each.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm talking about all of them. I've only read 1-6 but I just found them so boring. I thought I should get through them all because everyone kept talking about how good they are but in the end I just stopped at Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince because I was so bored.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You said "long and boring" I can understand the boring part even if I disagree, but 300 pages isn't long.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Okay then. I am sorry I said something you disagree with.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That response didn't really fit but whatever.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

HP posts suck... But Scooby Doo is spectacular :D!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's because Voldemort is pretty damn awesome.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That extra comma makes me unbelievably mad.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well, he does get him... several times. He gets him before the first book.... Scooby doo doesn't have to kill the guys.
