My dad's name is Jose... I HATE it when people don't pronounce it right.

My boyfriend pronounces queso as "qway-so" and quesadillas as "qway-so-dillas". He also calls pico de gallo "pie-co dee gall-o". Drives me CRAZY.

They're called "quesadillas" because they are made with cheese, and the Spanish word for cheese is "queso"! What a realization!

(Chauncy Pickles): ..Okay?

(Chauncy Pickles): You're stupid. Read it over again, she says how her boyfriends pronounces 'queso' and 'quesodilla.' You obviously were gone the day they taught reading comprehension in school.

What are you talking about? I was just noting how the Spanish word for cheese was in quesadilla. I am not disagreeing with her comment. I'm just making an observation.

Everyone in my Spanish class says "reloj" as ray-lodge.

I say jalapeño with a j sound when I'm just joking around with my friends

There's a street in my city named "San Jacinto." It's really funny hearing tourists attempt to say it, because they actually pronounce it "San Has-een-to" whereas everyone from my city says it "San Ja-sen-to".
