If a heaven exists, I would assume it is so perfect beyond our comprehension that we could never become bored or feel like our lives are monotonous. However, if a hell also exists, I would never be able to enjoy the splendors of heaven knowing that others are being tortured forever.

Eternal life would only be bad if your body continued to age and you eventually lacked the strength to breathe but you didn't die because you can't, or something like that. However, eternal life where your body stopped aging at a reasonable point would be fucking awesome.
