Actually, if you were really in any danger of choking to death, you'd be unable to make a loud hacking/coughing noise. It would be more like a quiet (but certainly not silent) gagging and straining if you were in any real danger. But it's a stupid question all the same. How are you even supposed to answer someone when they ask that? "Are you okay?" *hack**cough**cough*"Hey, are you alright? Say something." Sorry, it's kind of hard to enunciate when I'm violently gagging.

I was at my friends and i was choking on a pill because i started laughing yeah I coughed it up then everyone else started laughing along with me, it was great even though i almost died.
