I have one and I read more classic literature on that then I have in awhile. But I still buy books because there is nothing like the feel of a good book in your hands :) but the Kindle/Nooks/Reader are really handy

I don't think books can or will ever be replaced, but I think e-readers aren't a bad thing. I'm planning on buying a Nook with my birthday money soon. On vacations I go through a book a day (if not more), which takes up weight and space in my rather small suitcase. Also, e-books are much cheaper, so, me being a teen who doesn't have a job yet, reading new books for a lower price is awesome. Nothing will replace the smell of a new book, the feel of paper in your hands, or the finality that comes with closing a book you just finished, but I don't think e-readers are a crime against literature.
