+513 The world would have been totally different today if centuries ago black people were the dominant segment of society and that it was white people who were enslaved by black people. amirite?

actually everything would have to be different

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah cuz then black people wouldnt be like "ZOMFG YOU SAID THE WORD BLACK YOU'RE RACIST!"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wouldn't it be exactly the same, just the races would be switched? Does it make a difference which race is the minority?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No. Not if black people still came from Africa (and Australia) and white people came from Europe. First off, we wouldn't even be speaking English. Christianity probably would not be as popular. We would have a different calendar (4 days a week, 7 weeks a month, or something like that), and our culture as a whole would be different.

Thank you for clarifying that to the users. If you permit I'll add that due to the geographical distribution of white and blacks, all the important cities might shift in space. The economy could be totally different at global level. Certain norms of modern society would be completely changed because of the perceptions of the founders if i can say.

Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman. This exact concept. The Crosses (Blacks) are superior to the Noughts (White-skinned). It's pretty good (: Forbidden love, blah-di-blahh. Is it a coincidence that your name is Jude, OP?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This book is definitely interesting. Yes, my name is Jude. Why would that be a coincidence?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The main character's name is Jude... I don't actually remember what I was thinking when I wrote that because why on earth would it be a coincidence? It's your name.. "/ Silly me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's alright. I wasn't aware of the book, so I wouldn't have known.
