A slave is the modern word for slave. Or kid. Kids usually don't get paid and aren't capable of walking out whenever they want. :O

If you took history class in 8th grade you would remember slavory has been illegal in the US since 1865. Not to mention slaves were not free nor paid, but the last time I checked maids were both free and paid. Oh yeah, I'm an 8th grader.
