+260 Some dual nationalities should never exist, such as "Scottish-Asian", "White-Jamaican", and "Poodle-Person", amirite?

While an interesting point, neither poodle nor person are nationalities

And what's the nation of the nationality Poodle? Poodlesville?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

A poodle is a dog. That was the joke.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Breeds of animals aren't nationalities. That was the flaw in the joke.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The joke is that it's not a nationality. Humans and animals shouldn't breed.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The joke can't be both that they called Poodle and Person both nationalities, and also that humans and dogs shouldn't breed. Mind choosing just one joke in a post, and not just calling every flaw "that's the joke"?

There can be multiple jokes within one statement. The whole thing in itself isn't a joke. Those nationalities don't really appear often and seem weird when they do occur, which is basically an observation. The joke is the "poodle-person" bit. That's all there is to it, and I think you're looking in to it too much.

(Scotch korean accent) CONTRADICTION!

you are obviously forgetting cho chang.

I am very offended. I come from an absolutely beautiful family of gorgeous white Jamaicans. Jamaica is a country, therefore the term Jamaican is an adjective referring to someone's nationality, NOT their skin color. To say that you have to be black to be Jamaican is like saying you have to be a certain color to be American.
