+456 There for so many continuity errors in Spongebob. He can't lift a stick with marshmallows but he can hold trays loaded with burgers and carry a hugeass leafblower on his back, amirite?

Yeah, and how he sometimes turns left out of his house to go to work, and other times he goes right. I love how inconstencies like that bother us, but no one cares that he is a TALKING SPONGE!

was this a... sudden epiphany?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

um, what about the fact he's a talking sponge, they can cook shit underwater, a krabby patty doesn't get soggy, they are fish who drive boats, etc?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Those aren't *continuity* issues.

This is what makes cartoons funny when they first come out. After a while, the cartoons lose the errors and become less funny. Like South Park. It's still funny, but they don't have as much little things to laugh at. It's the little things that keep us laughing.

In the older episodes, Patrick was just misguided and everyone was smarter. Now they're all idiots.

So? It's a cartoon.

My friends and I were talking about this today! He can't lift a stick but he can lift the giant rock that Patrick lives under?!

in the episode where he's like normal or whatever, all the cubicles are closed in. so you wouldn't be able to get in or out

Yes, but you're not accounting for densities of objects, and don't forget about the portal to the Krusty Krab on the right that they sometimes decide to go to.
