+630 Just because you listen to Taylor Swift doesn't mean that you "love country music" and are "obsessed with it", amirite?

She's more acoustic pop than country now than when she began anyways.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah! I wanted to put that into the post as well, but couldn't really figure out a way to word it. :/

Country itself is more rock than what country used to be. Pop music is different than what it used to be.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it does, however, mean that you have "bad taste in music" and "like listening to sob stories about every guy she's ever kissed."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You obviously haven't heard all of her songs.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well I'm sure you haven't heard every single song either. From the ones I've heard, that's the conclusion I came to.

This is one of those things, where people say "Just because... doesn't mean..." and make up some random things that no one actually thinks.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

How so?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

She might as well still be country, they both suck just as much

by Anonymous 13 years ago

She doesn't even count as country. She might have used to but not any more

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know! That's another reason why I don't understand why people insist they're country fans because they listen to her. It really doesn't make any sense...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

She does still count as country. She's on a country label, she's played more on counrty radio stations than pop stations, her albums have country insterments, and she considers herself country.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

but she's not... she is way to mainstream pop to be country

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They both suck equally.
