+384 it's hard to do something you're afraid to do, but it's even harder living with the knowledge of what could have been, amirite?

There is no "knowledge of what could have been." We can never know what could have been. The problem lies in questioning what could have been, and dwelling on the more positive things that could have been. Nobody ever really thinks about what could have been and thinks the most negative possibility. Regret is useless. We can never know what would have been or what could have been.

You're comment reminds me of Narnia, when Aslan tells Lucy that she can never know what could've happened.....not that you care, just thought I'd share

Haha I love Narnia! Liam Neeson is awesome. I never even realized it, but that does sound like Aslan lol.

haha sure there is. there's tons of times when people do something because they're too afraid to do what they really want to do, and they have to deal with the fact that they chose to do that. maybe you don't do that, but the fact is, most people do think about it. yeah, you get over it, but it doesn't mean it's hard when you question if what you did was really the right thing or not. sure it's different for other people, maybe you should be a bit more open-minded?
