If the wise men were so smart, wouldn't they know the directions and not follow a star? amirite?

Cardinal directions, more likely than not, weren't really around before Jesus's birth...

They were wise enough to know to follow the North Star. Duh!

I think it's a lot more impressive that they noticed the North Star rather than finding some other way, personally.

If you were just as smart as they were, you would realize that the star WAS the direction and that back then, navigation was based on the sun, moon, and stars.

My friend got lost on the London Underground once so she followed a monk. It worked.

Randome, but did you know for every 69 miles you walk north the north star rises 1 degree?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Hahaha, 69.

Well they had to be quite smart to figure out how to follow the stars... I bet you couldn't manage that! xP
