Not trees, really, but it's still made from plants. American money is made from cotton and linen. Other countries may also have cotton/linen money, but I'm not sure.

cotton is a tree, they just kill it before it gets tall. My dads a farmer

Even with that, paper made for money doesn't come from wood pulp like normal paper does.

I'm pretty sure that cotton is actually a shrub. I know there's a cotton tree that's native to like, India, but I doubt that is what your dad is growing.

They just stunt is growth with a fertilizer type thing, I can't think of what it's called though
