+301 You shouldn't add French or Spanish, etc., to your languages on facebook if you're just in that class in high school, amirite?

But we can still speak it...we're learning how...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm talking about the people who are taking a class because they're required & are in, like, french 1. Like, I think you should at least be able to have a 15 minute conversation, wouldn't you agree?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

ooh...well that's true...i'm in french 4/5/ap (they're basically the same class), i was gonna say i'm almost pretty fluent...but i can have like an hour long conversation

by Anonymous 13 years ago

see, then I would be fine with you adding it.. it's just the people that can only say "bonjour" & count to 20 that bother me, you know?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yess, those people are annoying!

My friend and sister are fluent in Spanish. My friend did AP, and is taking conversational. My sister did Spanish 4 [college course], and is taking conversational. They can both speak fluently. And I got a 24/24 on the Spanish-speaking portion of my Regents! I was about to talk about cars without knowing any car vocab~ Haha.

Who cares?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

uh. I do. thats kinda why I posted it xD

I'm in Spanish 2 but I can understand enough Spanish to get by if I went down to Mexico or something. Which is very likely, seeing as I'm in SoCal.

I agree. It should only count if you can ask where the bathroom is. Seriously, if you can't even do that...

I had a spanish teacher named Miss Nunez, who my friend and I called Miss Noonez throughout the year. We gave Miss Noonez a hell of a lot of trouble, especially my friend. It was actually fucking hilarious IMHO. Poor Miss Noonez. Anyway, under my languages I have: English, The Spanish I Learned in Miss Noonez Class, and The Language Your Mom Speaks Before She Orgasms. I think that might have changed though.
