I also want to meet someone who only eats 1/2 cup of cereal. I measured it out once. It's not a lot.

Well, it may seem silly to have such an odd measurement as a serving, but how else would you have any idea how much of what you're adding to your body? Would it be a better alternative to just have the nutritional facts of what's in the entire box? I think what's really foolish is the "serving sizes" on a non resealable container which isn't the entire contents of the container to try and trick us into believing it's not as bad for us as it really is (looking at you, pop tarts). It's not that hard to just add up the amounts to the entirety of the container.
