+382 Voldemort sounds a lot like Hitler with the obsession with pure bloods and creating a cult for it, aka Death Eaters, amirite?

The difference between Voldemort and Hilter is that Hilter did some good for his country... Then went totally insane and tried to take over the world.

Voldemort also thought he was doing good for his people....

That's becasue the Harry Potter books are purposely similarly written to World War 2. The amount of years between Voldemort's coming to power and Hitler's until their death are the same. Everything matches up between the two including the "pure race" and the group of close followers (the SS and the Death Eaters).

And they were both hypocrites, i.e. Voldemort was a halfblood but supported pure wizards, while Hitler had black hair but supported the Aryans (blonde hair and blue eyes).

A great adventure story must have a great antagonist when we think of real-life antagonists, we think of Hitler Therfore all great adventure stories have a character who resembles Hitler

Voldemort girl: Use good English. Rox? U? 2? Da? Please. But Voldemort wasn't interesting! He had no reason for us to ask if he is really doing good for wizards; we always knew he was doing bad stuff. Just being evil doesn't make him interesting; being a character who has a lot of history that makes his evilness questionable makes the character interesting. Why shouldn't he have died? The ending wouldn't have been good with Voldemort saying "Get to work, slaves" to all the Hogwarts students.
