Haha I've had salmonella and it was the worst week of my life but I got it from peanut butter so bring on the cookie dough (as long as its not peanut butter cookies:-P)

Salmonella is found on the outside of the shell; eggs are actually sterile. As long as no pieces of shell get into the egg, you're good. (You can do this if you crack eggs on a flat surface instead of a bowl, which can push the shell into the egg.) Or you could just buy pasteurized eggs.

I eat raw eggs all the time, a little sal all the time will keep you strong. I also get rare burgers and steak, never got sick at all. Today I found 5 year old yogurt in fridge I plan to eat that if it looks ok.
