Haha, man, that would cause so many problems ... (IE, cutting it 55/45, and then claiming that it should be worth the cents to percentage). Although I did imagine going into a candy store, and buying a really cheap stick of gum for 60 cents or something, and then the shopkeeper takes out a pair of scissors and the ammount from your note, and gives you the rest change.
