+2,726 The real reason many gay men choose to stay in the closet so long is because they have to find the perfect outfit to come out in, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

OMG that is so offensive! It only takes me a minute to come out looking fabulous!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwnFE_NpMsE It only takes him 5 seconds.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i love when he first pops out from behind the door. and I love how he starts talking about the stalkers... oh, great memories of those days!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This isn't only funny, but the metaphor also fits! You have to wait for the right time.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I homepaged this fifteen minutes ago! :D

D'oh!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Dough?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, doe. Doe a deer, a female deer...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, just no.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm afraid that happened. And I don't even care.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Time for me to get my silver bullet.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I see no reason why you would shoot me, you have no reason to, and i have done nothing to encourage you to shoot me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I didn't realize that it had hit midnight, and I thought there were two POTD in one day.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That makes me think of this: http://queerbeacon.typepad.com/queer_beacon/images/davidhodorowskigayfabric.jpg

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lol I came out to my friends in a t-shirt and basketball shorts.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Were they in shock?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They were in shorts.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They were. :|

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That made me laugh. @1096899 (wobbuffet): Are they still in shock?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

:o i yya'd this post but don't remember doing it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I came out to my friends via relationship status on facebook. They thought it was a joke at first.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

is your name Sydney?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Um. No. My name is Allan.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

whoops so I see, I just know someone named Sydney who did that

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Maybe someone should design a walk-out closet.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

offensive? YES.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Giving a damn? No.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

INORITE? I come on a website clearly advertised as people stating opinions, but obviously I expected people to water down and censor their opinions, since the Internet as a whole should be a family-friendly place.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I found this very offensive tho. idk how it can be funny and reading through the comments, ppl are acting like gay people always act like girls

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It does play on stereotypes - the flamboyant, fashion-loving gay man, and I suppose humour is always subjective, but I don't find it offensive, any more than the "Obama isn't gonna shoot people just because he's black" POTD a few days ago. Yeah, it is a joke on the media stereotype, but I don't think it's a joke that's mocking gay people.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

So you don't agree with the stereotype, yet you're put off by someone mocking it?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think you just won this conversation.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

im so confused what does tht even mean

by Anonymous 13 years ago

As I recall, my outfit was pajama pants and an undershirt hmm

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Did every gay person have a coming out thing to parents/other family/friends? All of mine just kinda figured it out :/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't know since really no gay guys live in my area. No one I knew expected my coming out though. I just "never acted gay" apparently. I'm sure some of them still won't believe it until I bring a guy home.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Just every gay youth group, or club/pub, or website has coming out stories, and I don't have one. Forever alone

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That probably just means you're a very open person.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i do not like this post at all....my brother just came out and he does not "act or look gay" who cares if he did? Put yourself in their shoes people.... and quit being so ignorant.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm bi, and I know plenty of gay people. I really don't see the problem with choosing the perfect outfit!!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

lulz

by Anonymous 13 years ago

stfu you ignorant ninny, im a gay man who dresses like a manly man and this is fuckin funny

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What does being gay have ANYTHING to do with how you dress or act??? (A reply to all those other comments)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i dont care what the crap ppl say or reply to this, but this fckin offends me and my friends (i showed them this post)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Then you and your friends need to lighten up. And while you're at it, you should learn to type properly.
