+386 When you finally get your license, just be ready for everyone to ask for rides everywhere--and think that your car has unlimited gas. amirite?

It doesn't?! I thought it was broken, so I threw it away.

And for mama to send you to the grocery stores and on various other errands every day.

Eff that noise... gas costs to much. Ass, gas, or grass- no one rides for free! =P

*too

i'm really generous with giving people rides, i go out of my way a lot to bring people home. if my parents didn't pay for gas - they would be.

My friends get mad when I won't break the law and drive them places :3

by Anonymous 13 years ago

tell them to chill out, you keeping your license is a little more important than their discomfort

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yup, that's pretty much what I say! Almost word-for-word...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

and they also seem to ignore the fact that it's illegal to drive people under the age of 25

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Uh... No. You can drive one where I live at sixteen, and unlimited at 17

by Anonymous 13 years ago

well for me it's illegal to drive anyone under the age of 25 for a year after you get your license, except for siblings who you can drive to and from school. my sister and i like to take "detours" coming home from school though. :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

hello "detours"? lol jk that's gross

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well this probably makes me look really dumb, but I haveno idea what that is supposed to mean

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it's the same where I live

I know the gas problem - all semester I gave my roommate rides, including going an hour out of my way to pick her up from her aunt's house when my knee was out of sorts, and got $10 bucks in gas money for the entire semester........ >:-#

I pay my friends for gas by buying them french fries or clothes

That's why I refuse to get my license until I absolutely need to. I can go get it whenever I feel like it, seeing as I am old enough. But my friends and my sister seem to think that when I get my license, I'll just drive them wherever the hell they want at the drop of a hat. They don't get that it won't work that way. Also, when people give me rides places I always offer them gas money. They don't generally take it, but it still feels good to have offered it.
