Like if you say to an atheist that God exists and they reply back they don't believe in God, they're actually acknowledging that there is a God, but they just don't believe in him. It's confusing to explain.

I know what an Athiest is. I've grown up around many nonbelievers. The point is that in order to deny something's existance, you have to at least have the concept of it in your head to say that it either doe or does not exist. It makes complete sense. So, nice try.

Actually, it does. It also shows people are closed minded and can't read between the lines. Sayyy, the original may not have known how to put it in other words? And so us open minded people jump in to help that person out. How people say things isn't always how they're meant. So, bottom line.. Be open minded and read between the lines. It opens up a whole new world and people actually understand thing that clearly make sense to those who do it from the very beginning.

You called nearly everyone who commented here or disagreed an idiot. So, I just jumped in to help them out. Anyways, even if OP rephrased it, it still wouldn't make much sense. There's a difference between having a concept of something and believing in something. Didn't you see the unicorn post?

I'm sure half the people who said It was stupid just didn't understand it 'cause of how confusing it was written. All they saw was "Atheist" and "have to believe in God." Abd you even said you understood my point, yet now you're saying it doesn't make sense. Whoch means you're reverting back to your closed mindedness 'cause I'm proving you wrong and you just want to be right. I saw the unicorn post an I completely understand it. Which brings me to my original point. Concepts. People have the concepts of Santa and the toothfairies, too. And whether you believe in it or not, the concept is still REAL in your head. That's all this post meant. Like I said, people say things that aren't entirely how they should be said to make sense.

I really liked this post, actually. It gave me something to think about. And, like I said, made my Atheist boyfriend actually question his beliefs. Or, well.. Lack of beliefs. Haha. I also poasted this on FaceBook and MyYearbook and have some pretty awesome conversations going thanks to it.

Okay, when I said I understood your point, I meant that, yes, atheists have a concept of God in their heads. I can't deny that. But, having a concept of something does *NOT* mean that you believe it exists. What the post is saying is that you have to believe that something is real in order to believe that it doesn't exist, which makes no sense AT ALL. And again, how does this make me closed minded and what does that have to do with anything?
