The Beatles were overrated, but I still love their music. Queen's pretty close though.

I doubt a lot of the people who disagreed have really heard some of Queen's music (aside from the ever famous Under Pressure and Bohemian Rhapsody). These days it's "cool" to like The Beatles. They are both great, but The Beatles aren't better than Queen.

I love both, but I honestly would have to say The Beatles are best. And trust me, I love Queen A LOT. And yes, I know more than "Bohemian Rhapsody." Anyone know "You Take My Breath Away," "Teo Torriatte," "Coming Soon," "If You Can't Beat Them," "Sweet Lady," "Spread Your Wings," "All Dead, All Dead," "My Melancholy Blues," "Pain is So Close to Pleasure," "Rain Must Fall," "Funny How Love is," "Flick of the Wrist," "Brighton Rock," "Mustapha," "The Hitman," "Doing All Right," or "Cool Cat"? Those are among some of my favorite lesser known Queen songs. I admit, they are talented, some of the most intelligent people I've ever seen. Freddie Mercury's vocals, Brian May's guitar-playing, Roger Taylor's drumming, and John Deacon's bass: put together, they have made some of the greatest music of all time. But The Beatles are the ones who started it all. They turned the world's music style of things like Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, and Buddy Holly (all great, must I add) to their own style,...

...and without "I Want to Hold Your Hand," "A Hard Day's Night," "Yesterday," "Norwegian Wood," "Eleanor Rigby," "I am the Walrus," "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," "Come Together," or "Let It Be," music wouldn't be the same, and that includes Queen, who says that The Beatles were a huge influence on them. So if you like Queen better than The Beatles, I understand. But The Beatles are in no way overrated, and I think they will always be the best.
