Many people forget that there's a difference between militant, hardcore feminism and actual feminism. Militant feminists believe that women are superior to men. This is obviously bull crap. True feminists believe that women and men are equal, and they work to achieve this equality in areas like education and the workforce. I'm glad to see this post highlight the difference, because it seems that many people on here believe that all feminists are man-hating, hairy-legged women who go around beating up men. Not true. That's like saying that all Muslims are terrorists. The actions of a few extremists do not accurately represent a group. You wouldn't judge all Christians by the actions of the Ku Klux Klan, so why do the same for feminism?

I used to have a teacher that was a major feminist. She used ignore all the boys in the class because she hated men. She did it because one day she came home to find her husband cheating on her with some other woman, so now she just hates men and ignores all of them.
