+377 It may be more "polite" to say Happy Holidays since December has around 57 different holidays, but there are holidays all throughout the year and no one expects you to say Happy Holidays every day. People should stop making such a big deal out of this, amirite?

Meh, I'm Jewish and I don't MIND when people say Merry Christmas, but I kinda prefer "Happy Holidays". I won't get mad if you say Merry Christmas, though. :p

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Exactly! They're wishing you well.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Just say whatever the hell that person celebrates.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh yes. I am going to find out what holiday that every single person I meet celebrates.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If you know the person, genius. If not, just say "Merry Christmas!" If they tell you they're Jewish, then wish them a happy fucking Hanukkah.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Or you could just say happy holidays because it's polite and respectful

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And Merry Christmas isn't? That's like saying that saying "God bless you" when an athiest sneezes is disrespectful.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

keke...test their reactions by shouting a different holiday :D Ex: "MERRY CHRISTMAS!" ...It's July...
